After the 2026 AGM there are some new faces on the ART Management Committee (AMC), and we said goodbye to some old friends.
Farewell
Arthur Reeves leaves the AMC for pastures new aborad. He spent three years as Education Officer, developing many of ART’s teaching reasources. We wish him well with his new adventures.
Matt Lawrence who has been leading on Teaching Hubs for the AMC also leaves the committee, but will still be very much involved as a Trustee.
Say hello and welcome to two new members
Lucy Chandhial is relatively new to ART. She is a member of the Central Council’s Ringing 2030 workgroup and belives that a pool of confident teachers are essential to achive growth in the ringing community. She says ‘Bellringing is very definitely my main hobby, my friends and family know that ringing fills my calendar (and can create opportunities to meet in new places).’
Heather Peachey is a long-standing member of ART. She was part of the CCCCBR Education Committee and workd on ITTS, the foerunner of ART’s teacher training programme. She was one of the early Tutors, and after a well earned break, rejoined the Tutor team in 2024. A firm believer that one size does not fit all, Heather tries to mould ringing teaching to the needs of the individual and is always keen to pick up new tips as well as share hers. “Every day’s a school day”, she says.
